In line with the aim of the Initiative Afrique to bring together all researchers and students who work with academic partners in Africa, conduct research on Africa or have African roots, this podcast series highlights members of the diaspora and their work. The podcast format facilitates giving a voice to all members of the community of African researchers, junior and senior.

The focus is on sharing their background, why they chose the University of Bern, what the subject of their research is, and what challenges they face in the future.
